- Has a B.A. of Law from Cairo University, 1998.

- Worked as a reporter for a number of Arabic newspapers and magazines.

- Worked as a TV producer for Egypt National Television and ART (Arab Radio and Television network).

- Attended many training courses for film production and direction, in the National Cinema Institute and Al Jazeera Training Center.

- Worked as a journalist for Al Jazeera network, 2005-2006

- Worked as an art director for Image Power Production Company , 2007-2008.

- Directed a number of documentaries:

* 2006: Al-Modawnoon (Bloggers .. A New Voice for Opposition), (with co-director Ahmed Zain), Al Jazeera.

* 2008: Al-tareeq ela Al-qods (Road to Jerusalem), Al Jazeera Documentary.( Excutive production image power )

* 2009: Alnas wa Al-harb (People and War), a movie about the social, military and media context of the day of October 6th, 1973.

* 2011: Mohamed Ali Pasha, the Age of Power, AlJazeera Documentary.

* 2012: Mubarak wa Senino (The Years of Mubarak, a Strong Regime and a Weak State), Tasgeely (in production).
